Who is KatKo's? KatKo's All Pet Services is a licensed and insured business, owned and operated by Katrina Koleto. I do all of the visits myself and currently have no employees. I am a member of Pet Sitters International, Professional United Pet Sitters, and the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. Please note that I specialize in overnight care. I am not available for daytime drop-in visits only. This allows me to spend more time with my overnight-care pets during the day as well.
Why is in-home care better than boarding? In-home pet care provides more loving attention for your pets than boarding, and can be less traumatic for them than being in a strange place. Plus, you get the added benefit of someone staying in or visiting your home while you are away. In addition to taking care of your pets, we will bring in mail, take out trash, change curtains and lighting, water plants, and make your home appear lived-in.
Why do I offer in-home pet care? I enjoy visiting with furry and feathered friends in the comfort of their own homes, where they can relax and be themselves. Doing overnight pet care allows me the flexibility to pursue other activities I enjoy during the day, such as teaching a fitness class.
What is my experience? I am certified in Pet First Aid and Pet CPR through the American Red Cross. I have experience as a veterinary assistant and as a boarding kennel supervisor. I am experienced in assisting many animals with special needs, including those requiring medical care and those with shyness issues. I am familiar with a variety of sizes, species, and breeds, from budgies to Great Danes. In addition, I frequently volunteer with the Progressive Animal Welfare Society, aka PAWS.
